How to Select a SIM Card For Data on Dual-sim iPhone?

You can also select which SIM your iPhone uses for data to access the internet.

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data. select sim card for data on iphone
  2. Select which SIM card you want to use for data on your dual-sim iPhone.

Note that changing the default SIM for data on iPhone changes which card uses the larger network indicator (the second one will appear smaller below the primary indicator) and appears in the bottom-left corner of the lock screen.

Tip. Toggle on the Allow Cellular Data Switching option if both of your SIM cards can access the internet. The feature lets your iPhone switch dynamically between SIM cards to ensure you have the fastest internet connection with the best network coverage.
